{"id":7103,"date":"2025-05-11T13:14:36","date_gmt":"2025-05-11T13:14:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cndpi.dz\/?p=7103"},"modified":"2025-05-11T13:14:39","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T13:14:39","slug":"a-moudjahid-message-to-the-generation-of-independence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cndpi.dz\/?p=7103&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"A Moudjahid Message to the Generation of Independence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Center for Documentation, Press, Image, and Media (CNDPI) recorded this testimony by Moudjahid Mohamed Tahar Abdessalam, in which he shares his memories of the events of May 8, 1945, during which the French colonial authorities committed horrific massacres against peaceful civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this heartfelt account, he offers advice to the youth of independent Algeria, sharing the lessons he learned through years of national struggle, armed resistance, and efforts to help build the modern Algerian state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This testimony was documented in partnership with the High Council for Youth, as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacres. The CNDPI is also responsible for organizing and coordinating the events carried out by the Council on this occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mohamed Tahar Abdessalam, born in 1935, is one of the first wave of fighters who joined the Algerian Liberation War in its early days.
